Previous actions |
All |
- No updates from JA or NC.
- AC investigating work within CityRDF WG to meet requirements of the 3D Primitives Vocabulary and alignments to IFC, CityRDF, and X3D.
- AC proposed refactoring and extracting the appearance module into a new ontology to broaden applicability beyond city use cases; no objections raised.
- AC noted that placement of the new ontology within OGC is still to be determined.
- NC advised that OGC Rainbow should be online soon, enabling a registry of ontologies (e.g., GeoSPARQL, CityRDF, CRS).
- TH reported that appearance has been removed from the 3D primitives ontology into appearance.ttl.
- JA to continue investigating interest from OGC in extending Simple Features to include 3D.
- NC unable to follow up with Rob Atkinson as Rob is on leave.
- ISO publication update: NC and JA prepared presentation; JA arranging time with Scott, likely at next JAG meeting.
- NC advised next ISO TC211 meeting is in May (Korea); objective is to complete alignment and formally inform the group prior to that meeting.

- NC noted frequent use of QGIS in this work.
- MP advised that Oracle 23ai includes GeoSPARQL 1.1 support.
- NC referenced an RDF‑to‑GeoJSON tool: https://github.com/Kurrawong/rdf2geojson.
- TH provided CRS ontology update, including a Python script that generates a JSON‑LD context; OGC creating a new JSON CRS format similar to WKT.
- TH and NC raised discussion on RCC25 and possible DE‑9IM or Simple Features equivalents.
- PC to follow up with Anthony Cohn.
